You should buy a board that comes with all the parts and get one that has a good grip, lightweight, and that has curves on the sides of it. After that you will need to get a pair of skateboarding shoes to skate well that stick good to the grip tape of the board. Now you are ready to start skateboarding and try to wear a helmet when you're doing a trick you have not done before. It takes practice to master the tricks you want to do.
